You're right, definitely haven't driven one. But I've read plenty of reviews. I also liked what I read about the 156.

The car really is too heavy to be a sports car isn't it? And where is the RWD? Alfa has deeper racing roots than BMW, why are the new Alfas so tame?

I believe that is the required horsepower to drive the car (dunno what gear) at those speeds. I'm guessing a tour bus would require much more horsepower at the same speeds... What do you mean by bump steer? From your anecdote, it seems like you were just hitting a bump (and yes, the RS Kit really is...

Pretty sweet video....glorifying a pretty mundane car.

I dunno about you guys, but I'm not that amped up about the new Alfas.

I think the last modern Alfa I would want to own (based on what I've read about them) would be a 156 TS.

David, glad you're enjoying the car! Don't forget, you can order softer spring rates from Group 2 if you feel like you're getting beat up on our crappy roads. Anything spring rate that Ron sells is going to be MUCH stiffer than a stock, or even Shankle Super Sport suspension, so I don't think you'll...

So, was the integrale fun? I doubt I'll ever be able to drive one in my life time :(

Zamani, build up a 1993 Civic VX.

No power steering, locks, windows, or mirrors, weighs 2200lbs. Best part, gets 50 mpg city, 57 freeway!

Z, surprisingly not true. Motorx imported gts, gts-t, and GTRs before getting shut down. Haha, anyways, it must have been a newer Japanese car, which must have been a Mitsubishi or Toyota...I think they're the only ones using the GT-S moniker. Pretty sure you didn't go up against a Hyundai GT V6?? :...

You know, if you just buy Ron's kit I think you'll be very happy if you use it as your "Fun" car. It's a great compromise between street and race. Well worth the money IMO.

Mats, do you think the Integrale eats up more hp than other Japanese AWD cars?

I drove a Subaru Impreza 2.5RS (2.5 liter NA, 165 hp, AWD ~2800lbs ) once and it was pretty quick! Felt at least as quick as my Verde.

I vote for keeping a large sway bar upfront (have you welded in re-enforcement plates yet??) and fiddling with the alignment and rear suspension to achieve neutrality. Right now, that front bar is probably way too large, but it will always make the car roll less. Not only is this more fun by most dr...

Hello, I think Lucas is right. The staggered setup looks awesome, but probably doesn't help an already nose heavy car. I think your friend's car handles more neutrally because he has the stiffer rear sway bar. Does he have staggered wheels too? If not, that would also make the car more willing to tu...

Thank you Micke, that's great info. That's unfortunate, as I was hoping to use low ET wheels for street use :(
