Re: Axle Tramp
I think there is a possibility that it is underdamped (although, I don't have any other evidence of that - it has great traction over bumps and doesn't float around?). I could increase the rebound rate to see if that helps. I don't think I have run them above about half (well, maybe, but don't recal...

Axle Tramp
Am experiencing nasty axle tramp on a hard launch. Traction when on-the-move is very good. Off the line it hooks up fine, except if it breaks into wheelspin, then it tramps quite badly Car has 200 pound rear springs, koni yellow, SZ dedion bush. Tyres are 205/45 17 Michelin Pilot PP2. Donuts and cen...

Re: The Orange Cab -MD's New Racer
ha - midfield runner!
My 105 gtv is 1000kg, has 180hp and it runs at the front with the big-boys! Everything about this should be better, so there'll be no claiming of underdog status for you!
Watching with much interest

Re: The Orange Cab -MD's New Racer
hmm, a white GTV rally car, that's not Martin Darch's old car is it? you should have plenty of ventilation = those roof vents are very effective and tend to minimise dust and exhaust fumes by picking up high. will also help for keeping the screen clear on humid wet days. Looks like a tour de force g...

Tease!
I spot a roof vent and what looks to be spot light mounts - ex rally car?
Colour scheme, from what's shown, looks great!

marty moose - I don't know how you are fitting those wheels and tyres in at the front. Mine runs 17x7.5 et35 with 205/45 and JUST fits without rubbing (and thats with a small massage of the inner guard! I'd love to fit 215/45 let alone 225/45!
nice wheels BTW

Re: Koni shocks - I got the wrong ones but can I use them..?
I believe the difference between the two part numbers is the later ones have internal bumpstops to suit the 75 and late gtv6s (which did not have the external stops as fitted to the early gtv6). You can use the later shocks on the earlier car - just have extra bumpstops which is not a bad thing - bu...

Re: Hi all!
cool project 90's are a much unrated car. Alfa put all of its tricks into that one and it was better designed and built than the 75 (or the GTV) - evidence being lots of sound deadening. I presume this has the digital dash - there is a later model (Super?) that had analog dials - an aftermarket tach...
