Re: 75/Milano weight differences

The current owner says that US models without the sunroof are almost 300lbs lighter than a USA 3.0 verde edition. There were a handful of very light early Verdes without sunroofs - perhaps that is where the 300 lb figure came from. I speculate that Alfa used these light cars as "ringers" ...

Also, I have used the Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions on the track and they were very good. they tend to run pretty wide - the 205/50-15 is as wide as a 225 in some other brands. The biggest thing I noticed was they were very consistent and didn't seem to suffer from overheating and chunking as some...

James, I am running 225/40-16s with zero rubbing issues on my Verde, on wheels with and ET32 offset. http://centerlinealfa.com/about/verde/index.htm So, a 225/45-15 tire would work well for a 15" fitment, but I don't know who makes a tire in that size. I'm afraid the commonly available 225/50-1...

To reiterate some of the discussion on the AlfaBB, this guy has defrauded me and at least 10 other Alfa owners by selling: 1) Parts that are not what they are represented as 2) Parts that are not in the condition they were represented as I have no respect for Louie as he is a pathalogical liar and h...

The lube I have found best is Ford 75W/140 Synthetic Rear Axle Lubricant. It's available at any US Ford dealer. I tried this on th...
