Mats from what car is CV joint ? looks like bmw v8 propshaft CV to me , i have similar propshaft from integrale/155 q4 but they are smaller in diameter

right spindle on left side and vice versa(tubular LCA's) additional brace between lCArms bmw rack mounted on brace, engine back and down ..... just toughts :lol:

may be 1mm is max for standard head ... over 1mm and you will end in valve seats ! if you want to up CR just put NORD conrods, they are 1mm longer :wink: and dont forget to check valve/piston clearance :!:

a bit off topic but look at this pics i snapped from friends SEI 2.5 TD, reinforcement plates on front guibo ... and this is F.M. gearbox , no crazy rpms
sei prop is almost half the lenght and double the weight compared to 75 one :lol:

nord and v6 are old by design and running with pretty big tolerances so in most cases they are a bit worn .. add to this crappy oil control ring monodesign( high rpm abuse will eat oil rings extremely fast :o ) and voila no need for thin 0w - 20 5w-30 or similar modern synthetics , high clearances a...

nice work :D looks like v6 have better intake port layout and same bad exhaust as nord :? if filled and raised intake port will give impressive flow even with small valve :D do not mess with motomans 65% min CSA ports this will never ever work for our undervalved long stroke 2valve heads :wink:

when changing timing chains and gears , check very carefully for wear in brass sleeved bushes where upper gear of lower chain rotate .. these 2 bushes are directly feeded from main oil gallery and if they have weared out, lots of hot oil pressure is lost from there even in freshly rebuild engines :)...

LS trans oil helps non LS boxes to perform better :wink: friction modifier helps synchro to work better ... old alfa style synchros need more friction to work properly ... new non lsd synthetics are too slipery, box feels good shifts are nice and soft but still grinding :lol: . with LS oil you actua...

rebuilt pimp if needed, fit wire mesh screen, restrict oil feed to head, block oil feed to lower chain pulley brass bearing(lots of hot oil pressure escapes from there big leak close to main oil gallery) :)
