Glad to hear it. I love seeing old italian cars in excellent condition. I just hope the parts supply for these cars continues on.

second gear crunch

If needle bearings replaced the bushings in the Alfa gtv6 gearbox the syncros would not have to work as hard to stop the gears from turning before the gears engage. Thats why alfas shift better when they are warm. Many other cars use needle bearings instead of bushings. Less rotational drag.

Alfa twin disc clutch clearance adjustment

For anyone owning a gtv6 with a twin disc clutch you should know that the space in between the peressure plates and discs is adjustable. similar to that used on Ferrari twin disc clutches.

Best time to change the heads gaskets are when they leak. I found that if you spray the new head gaskets with copper seal they last a lot longer.

Ever consider using TOTAL SEAL piston rings. Very ingenious piston rings that really increase compression and reduce blow by. Call Summit racing they have them.

I guess we all have our own sound preferences. I like that deep bass like sound. It kind of sounds like the new infinity two door coupe with twin exhaust pipes. I love that sound.

Mat is right. small amounts of ethanol/methanol mixed in with gasoline shouldn't be a problem. It helps reduce emissions and raises the octane value. I also notice i get less miles per gallon with it. Good for the petrolium industries they sell us more because we use it up faster. Clever people.

I'm not sure what you mean by drone. the one i purchased is the single tip model, i think a twin tip is optional but EB spares recommended the single tip. I think it sounds excellent at any speed. Really. My alfa sounds awesome and runs perfect with this exhaust system, especially when the engine is...

TO ANYONE WANTING TO KNOW HOW THE CSC REAR EXHAUST SYSTEM SOUNDS WITH THE STOCK FRONT CONVERTER AND STOCK CENTER RESONATOR. IT SOUNDS VERY GOOD. I ORDERED FROM EB SPARES IN THE UK. ITS NOT LOUD AT IDLE AND SOUNDS BEST WHEN THE CAR IS WARMED UP. THE FIT WAS PERFECT. QUALITY A1.
