TS/4 cyl Engine mount height?
Hey,
I'm trying to make some new mounts for TS engine since they are harder and harder to find and quality is way down these days...
Anyways, does anyone know the height of the rubber originally on new mounts, between the metal plates, when its uncompressed...?
thx...

Re: Mats Strandberg (SWE)
You need some quirkiness to keep your adrenaline level? Isn't that implied when u drive an alfa :) Bmw and other german brands in their factory states inspire "false" confidence for me, it's too quiet, to refined if u know what i mean... They are good cars, no question about that, they ju...

Only thing left is do u like the driving feeling of bmw, the way it moves, sounds, seating position, steering sensation. etc... It is a potent car but i just find it too predictable and boring...

Re: 4-cylinder turbo performance
As for the ancient ECU in 1.8t i found in some old italian car magazine that alfa needed to avoid some luxury car tax in italy and they made turbo purposely inferior not to go over m3 price range. brand new it was ~34k deutsche marks in germany. What kind of tax i'm not sure, something about technic...

Re: Split dash instruments
:) no problem Euro Alfetta GTV up to 1981 i think, i'm sure about 1976-1980, had those instruments u are looking for, km/h instead of tacho, split dash, black background, there was also a blue background. But that's very hard to find here, most of those cars were crushed, even 75's are crushed now r...

Re: 4-cylinder turbo performance
I went for NGK 9 because i have idle problems in the summer when the car is hot, very hot. I mean, not problems, but its not as smooth as with these i had 7 and 8, 8 are ok all year round, but in hard driving with stock ignition 9 give me smoothest engine running both on and off throttle in the 40c ...

Re: JK Coilover Suspension
2.2 bar :) that's in the 380hp range? how will the transaxle hold that? No burning rubber on the lights... torque must be a killer on the box from that. Does the GTX2863R have significant advantage over gt2876R in faster spool and gentler torque delivery or is it just for more boost sacrificing a li...

Re: 4-cylinder turbo performance
Hehe, Its good because i can only find 1.8ie and TS here on salvage yards :) really most common type of engine imported here besides 2.0ts is 1.8ie. we have no carb engines and no 1.8t here some 12v v6 and only in 3.0, but those 1.8ie and 1.6ie there are tons compared to the number of 75's here. Als...

I was thinking about the trigger wheel and a sensor. I'm not sure what are u talking about...The TS front cover doesn't fit the Nord.
