On the subject of interesting stuff with regards to forced induction, check out this baby. Reliability has been good for the past ten years on this car and eats most things alive. Not sure of hp figures but Im sure Barry could tell you as he developed this car.

My 3.2 GTA conversion 116 parked next to Dawie.(Same ride height a spongy handling of 4x4 as you found out) I promise the car will be lowered and fitted with coil overs soon. Still figuring a few things out on it for a fairly comfortable road drive combined with good road holding.(spring rates)

Final check on the drive shaft as a the right one had sheared off earlier under the strain of the 3.5 tt (Dawie motor). This run and rest were faster than any one.

Seb, if you got a Dastek agent for the unichip over there it would be your cheapest option to chip the Motronic. I had it done on 24v motor with excellent results but not good as the Haltec I had done later on. The Haltec cost me 12 times more than the unichip with a approx 8% more power at the mome...

Hi Jules, We just had our Ultimate Street car challenge on Sunday and Dawies 3.5 24tt motor in Stuarts Ultima whipped the likes of 450kw DTM Mercedes, 550kw Porsche Turbo, Supercharched M3's, Subaru's,Evos etc. It was great to see Jamie(owner of the DTM Merc) take such a priceless car and thrash it ...

Hi Fernando You are better off to have the gotech as you no longer have the restrictive AFM and you can play with the advance. Sunday was great, had to leave early but it was awsome to see a 3.5 24v tt Alfa motor whip a 450kw DTM Mercedes, 500kw Porsche and the list continues. I got lots of pics and...

Unichipped my L-jet

I have always had a fuel mixture problem on my original 1984 GTV3.0L(one of six made with injection) as the only AFM avaliable that stage by Alfa Romeo was from the 2.5. Either I had overfuelling at low rpm and underfeulling(lean) at high rpm or vice versa as you cannot get a happy medium as this AF...

Hey JJ, I have helped Dawie over the past few years pitting(pit crew) for the various cars he has entered in this All Tar rally. Its a tough race as you know the works Toyota team shows up now and then so they are serious boys out there. Consistency and torquey motor definatly gives you a good chanc...

Hey guys, I was caught off guard this weekend with the steering on both our 24v GTV's. The horn was still working, steering had not rotated but the handling on fast turns and heavy braking had become 'diabolical'. After racing out to Barrys house (25km trip) at flat out pace in both GTV's with my ol...
