A.R. Club of South Africa track day at Kyalami

Here are some of the pics taken at our Club day which turned out to be great fun. Got to put those eight pot calipers which Barry installed on my GTV-3.2 GTA to full use. Suspension will be next as every thing is over 23yrs old including the shocks. Jacques in his 155 was about to overtake me(withou...

The taper will help increase the velocity(i think) but there is still not enough vertical height. This was a big problem in especially in the GTV3.0l carb airboxes . Strainge you mention stubs inside as we have never seen thje 75 and some of my plennums have stubs and others dont as for example the ...

I have thought of putting a 3.0l bonnet on as this gives me alot more vertical height for the no 1 pot, but my intention with this car was to leave its external appearences original including the 2.5 badge on the back. As this re...

pic 6 need to measure the distance of runners from front to back and line up with new plennum so the hood can close. As the engine sits at angle you cant assume it will be square to the hood. Can touch.

Increased plennum volume for GTA 3.2

After seen the superb hand made plennums on Barry's bigbore engines and JJ's(Dawie) I have made larger plennum from two 2.5 GTV plennums cut in half and seam welded up. It does not unfortunatey have the same volumes as Barry's and Dawies but it is better than before for this 3.2 GTA engine . A few p...
