Yeah... thanks guys. I am in the US and it's pretty darn hard to find anything decent in metric sizes. I don't so much care about whether it's cadmium plated or something else (other than galvanized), but I do want them coated with something to prevent corrosion. I'm making a set of brake adapters f...

In the US many people run Mobil-1 75w90 synthetic with good success. I ran this in my car for a few years before someone rear-ended me and totalled the car. :(

Mats, yeah I agree, people definitely should know it's a carcinogen before using it. The idea isn't to run a tank full of Toluene, but rather to blend it with your gas to raise the octane. I think in the percentages we're talking about it is not a problem for most fuel systems. As a side note, it is...

Everything is easy when swapping the 3.0 from a 75/Milano. The only things you need to work out are the wiring to the combi relay and getting the throttle body, throttle linkage, and idle mechanism working properly. Easiest thing is to use the engine harness from the 3.0 (just leave it attached), th...

Don't do it, it is toxic/carcerogenic beyond belief and will eat away ANYTHING plastic/rubber in you fuel system that is not Viton. Not worth it by a longshot. Okay, well Audis (even early 90's ones) have no problem with it. Also, if you read the links at the bottom of that page I posted, they talk...

I must find this 114oct. fuel and try that "coctail"
Thanks :D
That's 114 US Octane... which is probably more like 120 by your measurements. :)

Sasha, If you are looking for a way to get your fuel Octane rating up for that turbo car, here is a cheap solution friends of mine used to use on their Audi S4 Quattro cars (original S4). I had an S4 as well but not enough boost to matter since I had the stock turbo setup. Anyway, see if you can get...

Fasteners?

Does anyone know a place online where you can easily order bolts of certain strengths and measurements? I'm having a hard time finding the stuff locally and no website I've seen so far will let me do this for cadmium plated stuff... Here's an example: Metric 10.9 strength 12mm hex head bolts 40mm in...

Those calipers was stolen off of a huge amout of pre-production cars and the first R-line cars over here in Volvo-town. I wonder if they use the front or the rear ones, the front ones are ENORMOUS. They're definitely using the fronts... lower down on that page you can see someone who also f...

Hey Jim, beautiful setup! Wish I had the cash to spend on the primo discs and machining you have there! Just found out recently that the calipers on the current Volvo S60R are nice Brembo items and are about $200 each from the dealer + $40 core deposit. Don't know the piston size, but that's practic...
