i have the oppurtunity to purchase a 3.2 24v complete with wiring loom and ecu from a 2010 GT
what id like to know is...
can the loom and ecu be used in a gtv6? can the ecu operate as nomal by itself? (ie. doesnt need to converse with the BCM?)
cheers, Brad

916 gtv / spider 24v gasket kit
im looking for a 916 gtv 24v engine gasket / seal kit.
IAP and centreline both have a listing for the 164 24v engines but not the 916 gtv. does anyone know if these gasket sets are the same? or the best / cheapest place i can order the correct kit from?
cheers, Brad

Re: Turbocharged 79' GTV - Track Car Build
started on the brake / clutch issue. because the sr is so far back compared to the nord there is no room for a clutch and brake mastercylinder. so ive decided to make a custom floor mounted pedal box (what i can make for material costs would cost around $400-500 for a wilwood or tilton) 3 pedal/ 3 m...

Re: Turbocharged 79' GTV - Track Car Build
thats why i added thos braces, the twisting motion of the diff under high torque blus with bumps and shocks of the car it would flex at that point to much for my liking, i wouldnt make something if it was pointless ?? rubber bushes could work, but as the craddle is now fixed to the diff, and the cra...

Re: Turbocharged 79' GTV - Track Car Build

unless your shafts fit? then adapter with spacers can be made, otheiwse i can only think of sleeving and joining the two halves... i plan to join the front mounting points with the rear making it all part and mounted by 3 rubber points. in the pics u can see the start of the craddle, took a while se...

Re: Turbocharged 79' GTV - Track Car Build
the other option was to cut a nissan driveshaft and a alfa one, sleeve them, plug weld and weld around the ends of the sleeve then have balanced. a lot of work required so glad it turned out so simple. how do u plan to do urs? using the bolts on the axle flange would be easier, would require longer ...

Re: Turbocharged 79' GTV - Track Car Build
made the adapters to use the s13 diff centre with alfa driveshafts. took longer than expected cause i had to go buy a m8 x 1.00 mm tap  but they worked out spot on. next step is to set up the diff center to clear the dedion, centred and at the right height / so tail shaft is parrallel to groun...
