Talking older 12V motors, the load is given by the AFM. TPS is a switch rather than a pot, so only indicates idle, WOT, or somewhere in between. Crank trigger gives crank angle and speed of course, so given load from AFM, temperature from water temp sender, you can then pick your timing from the map...

I've used some 4-hole injectors in my supercharged 164 motor, but using the stock rail etc. No problems I've noticed at least....but now you have me wondering.

Wot Duk said. You don't need or want any more advance than is required to give best power...and a dyno is by far the best way to determine that.

I've read somewhere about a modification for the rear mains... if i remember corrctly they used Nord bearings which are supposed to be a bit wider. :? I used NORD mains throughout on my recent 12V build. As you say, they are about 3mm wider, and another bonus, they work out slightly tighter than V6...
