Re: New 24v ITB's
Had a chat with a friend yesterday regarding ITB sizing and he said it didn't sound that bad, it's not a direct translation between single throttle vs ITB and it has probably something to with the fact that the airflow is much more uneven for a single cylinder application and the airspeed is a lot ...

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
The 147 GTA also have 7.3.1 It seems that only alfa engines have that ECU. Take a look at this forum, pinouts of the ECU: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-147-156-and-gt/80711-bosch-motronic-me7-3-1-pinout-diagram.html Why not going to Megasquirt? it has full sequential injection, ignition, doubl...

Re: GTV6 / 75 gearbox mounts
Thanks. There is a certain Alfa spares dealer in the UK that tells me they are the same. I know the 75 3 litre and GTV6 mounts are bigger then the TS and Alfetta 2.0 litre but I am not too sure if the larger one for both cars was the same. As far as i know you can use the mounts, TS mounts are 1.5c...

Re: 4-cylinder turbo performance
Hmmm, I was under the impression these (0280150152) were 340cc injectors but apparently they are 240cc. Rough calculatin shows ~230cc are needed for 190hp, so you may have something there Mats. Since I want to keep the std looks, I'll have to find similar style injectors with about a 260cc rating a...

Re: MSII+Motronic+EDIS
Thanks for the replies! I haven't bought the MS yet, but the Edis is already mine.... You don´t need EDIS, you can configure MSII to work whith all the sensors and trigger wheels of the motronic, even the stock dizzy ignition. If you want distributorless ignition you have to mod the MSII to MSIIext...

Yes, I'm trying to restore the EVO absolutely in original condition, but I think in black leather for the seats, because the cloth is not for repair. So, or other seats, or new cloth, or all in black leather. I think it is the only solution. http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/9097/070612190230oc4.j...

Alfa 2.7 v6 turbo.... crazy idea or not?
We know the 2.8 conversions mixing 2.5 and 3.0 v6 engine parts.
But, what about mixing 2.0 v6 turbo and 3.0 v6 engine parts?
3.0 is 93mm * 72.60
2.0 is 80mm * 66.20
So 2.7 must be 93 * 66.20
I have to search for 2.0 v6 turbo at junkyards....

Any engine bay pics? Does the trottlebody has to be repositioned? I recall that the 75 EVO race car has the trottlebody in the same place as the road car.. but then it's a very close fit to the cooler pipes, because the compressor outlet is facing up in the road car, and facing down in the EVO race...
