Re: Son of Cab a FWD racer?

Over here in the Netherlands there has always been quite a large alfa-racing scene. Over the years we've seen that the fwd models can be nice racecars and certainly are capable of providing a lot of fun. One of the guys i know is a young man in his sixties who for years raced rwd alfa's. He still ha...

Re: My rebuild!

Another gearbox in the right shape for the gtv would be from the porsche 928. Strong gearbox but also quite rare in manual.

Re: My rebuild!

Open up the front frame rails and insert some boxsection to strenghten the nose. Make a u shaped figure and insert from the front. Re: My rebuild!

Sounds to me like it's time to take him for a good walk into the desert... And make sure to take a shuffle with you.

Hope it all gets resolved for you and that you at least get your money back.

Looking forward to some positive news. :D

I believe the old type 24v 164 engine has thicker headgaskets. 2.3mm sounds like the 164 24v thickness.

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's

It's an annual event. Only the location varies between Zandvoort and Assen racetrack. Depending on availability, price etc. I have been going to the spettacolo for almost 20 years now. I normally only go on the sunday. Variety in cars is huge. From simple daily 156 to some 1930's car that was driven...

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's

I was there on sunday afternoon and saw Oliver's 75 in it's trailer. I thought it might be broken but later i heard about the black flag. Such a shame. Hearing 9k rpm would have made my day even better. Kevin, it was nice to meet you and put a face to a name :P I hope you enjoyed the event. Maybe we...

Re: Clutch spline count and shaft Dia?

Some friends of mine did that with original clutches. We have a company here in the Netherlands that can do that. They are specialized in clutches for tractorpullers, trucks and also cars. They can put new material on the plate and refurbish the pressure plate. We used to get old bmw 3.0 v8 manual c...
