EDIS and Megasquirt

So we got the EP Alfetta EDIS system running last night. It's a V2.2 board with MSn-E 024u2 code and MT 2.25b417. It's pretty new code so I was a little reluctant to use it over the 021i that I've been running. So far so good. A few snags and hopefully this will help some people in the future. 1) In...

So one guy says speed/density is old technology and now all the aftermarket systems are just antiquated? Some research on your part would reveal that pretty much every aftermarket engine management system is speed/density over mass/air or alpha/N. Modern Denso systems on Hondas are speed/density. Bu...

You can get a new accumulator for a GM car for about $100. That's probably most of the problem. If the pump runs constantly. Go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and search on part # 25528382. It's for a Buick Reatta but it's a direct replacement. In fact, it's the same part. Start there and see how the brak...

Hi Luis and welcome. It would be great if you could add your car to the 'Success Stories' thread here so we have a tally of running cars. Michael the Admin is working on getting .MSQ and .XLS files uploadable to the forum. I couldn't find that BD138 locally or I would have used it too. There isn't m...

Don't discount fixing the ABS system you have now. Depending on the issues, there are some much cheaper GM parts that resolve many of the problems. ABS is a good thing. If it wasn't almost every modern car wouldn't have it and F1 wouldn't have banned it. The Teves system is old I admit. Still better...

That's a good deal. I figure it to be about $270 USD.

Why did you give up on the project Simon? Last I knew you were very impressed with the MS and were getting on quite well with it.

Here's a coupe of pictures with the 18" Mille Miglia wheels on the Milano with the spacers. The spacers are a little hard to see in the pictures but you get the idea.

The wheels are 18x8 35ET, tires are 215/35-18. Don't think I could go any larger than that without rubbing.
