The engine will be in a custom built tube-chassi, but of course it won´t be mounted sideways. Way 2,5? I can get a block for 50$(+heads, bb kit and more ofcorse), a new type 3.0 cost like 1500-2000$
Will the 3.0 heads from a 164 fit the 2,5 block? I can get som "scrap" 24v part cheep

2,5 from 156 and 3.0 from 166/gtv. Had an ide to use a 2,5 156 engine(can get one cheep and then convert it to 3,5 or 3,8.
Might as well go by a 164 24v use it over the winter and the junk it and then use the motor.....cheper and easyer.

What parts is different betwen the 2,5 and 3.0 24v engine? Is it posible to build a bigbore engine from the 2,5l?

One more photo of a 3" pipe over the de-dion on my gtv turbo, it fits whitout cuting and it dosent make contact whit body or caliper.

2,0 turbo conversion, need low comp pistons
building a 2,0L turbo engine for my gtv. I am locking for low compresion piston. 7,5:1 or somting like that. Dose any one know if there are any company that sels such pistons? or any that can fix me up whit som non expensive special bulit ones.
