Well, gut instinct is, if it doesnt even run, the gaskets must be well and truly shot! has it got any compression? Not sure what he means about water got inside the engine?? If the gaskets have gone, then it will just be coolant mixed up with the oil, resulting damage will depend on how long the car...

Shures is right. THere is nothing wrong with the motors themselves, I have never had a problem with the motors, they only go wrong when they meet more resistance than they are designed for. The wire barrel mechanism is what knackers the motors, check it out. I took both of my barrels apart and clean...

Boring I know, but how about white? You see very few Gtvs in white,Ive seen one or two in white , and with a bit of blsck trim here and there, and colour coded spoilers, skirts it really looks very up to date.

The motor my have been in a garage, but 1) all the oil would have drained out of the top ends, and 2) the piston r...

How long had the 3.0 l been sat around out of the 75 before you got it? was it stored outside? Maybe you can go to the work shop and politely ask the mechanic to show you the lack of compression on 2,3,6 so that "you can understand what is going on", ie play a bit dum. that way you dont in...
