There's a bit of quality loss because of re-encoding, but it's right side up.
Garth: If you want me to send you the file, I'd be more than happy.

I agree with everyone that the shifter feel is usable. I've been driving my car around and while it is true that I'm the only one in my family that can drive it, it's easily manageable. Now, as for the project I was talking about, I'm attempting to come up with an alternative design, one that would ...

Gearbox Selecter Shaft Travel
Does anyone know the travel for the gear selector shaft (at the tranny)? I need to figure out both how far it moves in and out to select gears and how far it rotates each direction. I'm working on a design for a short shifter and need to calculate the angles and lengths that I need in order to reduc...

Clutch Master Cylinder
I think I have a problem with my clutch master cylinder and I want to check with everyone to make sure my guess is correct before I go out and buy a new one/try to rebuild it. I just put my transaxle back under the car after about 2 months in my shop. I reconnected the clutch slave and bled the syst...

For what it's worth, I just looked at my front badge and it looks the same as your hatch badge. The car is an 83 Cali spec GTV6. I believe that the badge is stock, and despite the chip, the colors don't appear faded or changed much at all. The rear badge on this car is the usual one, with red in it....

Timing Check
Is there any way to check that the timing belt hasn't skipped any teeth? I was putting the transmission back in and ended up turning the drive shaft both ways before I realized that I shouldn't have done it. I'll rest easier starting the engine after I've confirmed that it's correct. Thank you! Carson

GarthW: My car doesn't even have rear seats right now so the front setup is definitely best for me. But I personally think that rear speakers are pointless in this car even with that rear seat. There's no where good to put them for the rear passengers to set the sound stage right and they would detr...

That actually happened to me, but I patched the old holes when I redid the upholstry. I used some thin composite board cut it to the shape of the hole and then used aluminum roof flashing and gorrilla glue to hold it in. So far it's worked extremely well. Once it was patched I then cut my own holes ...
