That CAD rendering, is that the machined piston? Unigraphics? :) Yep, unigraphics of the machined piston. I don't believe that the rods are the same, liners are. I'm at a customers site, so no AR parts disk available  But the 3 mm is really there. Even when you look from a side 3 mm does not s...

Couldn't you work with a several interchangeble tubes between engine and intake plenum. Only interfacing has to be the same. And plenium has to be repositioned according tube length. Is it so that you could tune between torque and power. (Theory was longer intake: more torque at lower rpm or do you ...

A bearing in the watt pivot makes more sence. If you look at the lever effect of the dion from the side of the car. The watt gets about 5 times bigger forces then the front center pivot of the dion. My setup is uniball in the watt linkage. And a poly bushing in the center of the watt linkage and the...

Ok, I'm looking for some feed-back ... 8) In the following picture is the timing diagram of the TS cams (motor code 062.24). http://www.home.zonnet.nl/mfeijts/SCARB/TS_nokkenas_timing.jpg My interpretation is that when the vvt is switched, the intake cam is advanced by the the vvt over 32 degrees. R...

:D I'm taking a short cut. I have to rebuilt the bottom end. So the rod gets new piston bearings. Machining is measured afterwards, so I can skip that fault factor (goal +/0.01) I will not mill the head. CR will be made with the pistons and then I do not have to worry about the valve reliefs later. ...

You could also try Heinbrand in Germany
http://www.heinbrand.com/details.php?ar ... anguage=en&
Looks the same but he is more speciallized in 105 and older Alfa's. Don't know if these are also availible for a gtv.

OK Jim thanks for the numbers, didn't know the 2 mm for exhaust! Will do when the 155 pistons are machined and engine is pre-assembled again. Want to go the SAFE route this time. ( 8000 rpm at the end of Kesselchen, I wish I could  ) ps checked the head height this morning before going t...
