and yes Z the brake booster is indeed from a GTV6 (22mm) and not the standard Alfetta one (20mm).

Re: Exhaust manifold (Nord)
Zamani, yes they are mandrel bent. Significant differences from the usual Ansa, Supersprint etc stuff are: 1)the intake port geometry which is far better in this one, and 2)the optimum lengths and diameters of the tubing let alone the far better shape... Thing is that if you want the best manifold f...

Re: Exhaust manifold (Nord)
Hi MD, you are absolutely right about the heatshield and this in fact is on my top priority list for next week... As for the master cylinder i myself hate its 100 year old looks but the fact that i use the car everyday for the last 7 months has prohibited a job which i am afraid will require a coupl...

Re: Exhaust manifold (Nord)
My dear friend (and whale heavy v6 owner), of course i had no intention to dyno the car on April the 1st so you will have to wait a bit, to see a power to weight combo that would exist only in your wildest dreams as far as your frigate is concerned... By the way (and regarding the so calle...

Exhaust manifold (Nord)
Some pics of my new stainless steel exhaust manifold. Primaries measure 42mm OD and 38-40cm each in length.Secondaries are 45mm OD that become 50mm, then 55mm and merge into 60mm OD final. 2 free flow mufflers (middle and rear). It definitely improved engine response through all gears and along with...

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Thanks for the info. Reason for longer studs is to fit 8mm spacers for the 4x98 Ronal Turbo wheels with which it seems i have some kind of fetishism... Any way, it rather turns out that the CNC machined studs idea was not the best one... I should dig into that Demon Tweeks catalogue again. X

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
Hi Mats,
you got me a bit puzzled...i just spoke with JK by the way and i would also like to know the difference between the two types of studs as far as possibility of fatigue failure is concerned....
By the way, this is an everyday car on street tyres (if that is of any importance...).

Re: Some more brake upgrades for the 116-Barry
One more type of brake upgrade which i consider enough for street/trackday application on any non-turbo 4cyl GTV: 285X22mm discs and AP Racing/Galfer 4pots on custom CNC machined alloy bells and longer wheel studs. The setup fits the original Campagnolo 15in wheels perfectly (without spacers) but it...
