All While I currently replace front wheel bearings, rotors, caliper seals etc, I thought I would dig through the old posts to see if there was anything additional to be learnt and came across this old post from 2005 relating to pinch nuts..... "..........Also, consider replacing the stock axle ...

Hella GTV6 Indiator Flasher Unit Part No.

Hi All Can anybody tell me the correct Hella part number or model number for a 1985 GTV6 indicator flasher unit? My preferred auto electricians have drawn a blank and the NZ Hella people don't seem to want to help. Original parts are thin on the ground locally, so if I can buy a suitable aftermarket...

WTB - GTV6 Headlight Buckets & Chrome Rings, New Zealand

Hi all,
I wish to upgrade the headlamp units in my 1985 GTV6 and would like to buy a complete set of USA Headlight buckets and chrome rings in good condition.

Winter is upon us here in NZ and my existing Carellos are annoyingly feeble so please, help save the neighbourhood cats!

Many thanks, worked perfectly. I tried a similar approach but without as much force in it - working on the theory that by the time you get to the "get a bigger hammer" stage you are obviously doing something wrong. Everything came out cleanly as you described, and importantly no damage to ...

GTV6 Master Brake Cylinder Disassembly

Currently placing a new seal kit in my '85 GTV6 MC. As you can see from the attached photo, I've removed the rear circlip and seal and expected the remaining pistons etc to 'pop' out in the normal way. I have also removed the stop bolt from the secondary system I'm a bit puzzled by the white plastic...
