Power steering into '87 GTV6

Hi guys,

Ive done a search but cant seem to find what i'm after.
I'm looking at putting power steering into my 87 gtv6 and was wondering if there was a direct bolt in replacement?
Does anyone have a project thread or description of the process.

Many thanks

If you really want to be fussy you can easily push the clips from the inside of the doors with the doorcards off and windows up.
Using this method you shouldnt break any of the clips.

Mintex pads, whats part numbers?

Hi guys,

I want to get some mintex pads from my local BNT but they cant find the part numbers in their book.

Its for a 1986 gtv6 with the standard brembos.

Does anyone have other brand part numbers that i could cross reference?

Thanks

This had happened to me a few times, and you get better with practice. If i have time i usually attach the all lowers first then the upper clamps last. One time when this happened i was in my suit without tools so i had to jump up and down on the plenum to get me home. got some weird looks and comme...

When i had a big stereo - Optima Yellow Top

Now without stereo - Optima Red Top

I would recommend Optima or Kinetik racing batteries.

Also sometimes i have found that the fuses are loose in their holders causing the 'power cut' to the fuel/ecu to cause the engine to stall.

to my knowledge there was no factory speaker in the front door. each country/dealer just put them in where they thought best. I believe this is true as i have seen may different locations and i had found some virgin door cards off a junkyard gtv6 that had no holes at all. should be fairly cheep and ...

try checking the circit boards where the lamp fitting is connected. mine have developed problems after 20 years and needed a bit of solder. remember a multimeter is your friend when testing electrical gear. also if you dont have anyone around to hold their foot on the brake pedal, just cut a piece o...
