Re: 24V headers

I got my JK headers, and just waiting for gaskets to install! Will post more pics soon.

Surprisingly, I didn't get any complimentary olive oil....why? #disappointed

Re: 75 Twin Spark Engine Head Removal Tool

Love it! Very ingenious. But I'm guessing the bolts have to all be turned slowly and equally.

I think JK would be really proud of you and send you a friend request on Facebook.

Re: Larger oil cooler

What about air flow? I’m just afraid a bigger cooler may mean lower oil pressure. If you get rid of the CF3 catted headers and vent the hood, the could solve engine bay heat. Then a repositioned oil cooler, in front of the radiatior would ensure the airflow is good. MD, any chance polish gherkins mi...

Re: SA GTV6 2.5 restoration and few minor mods !

Well for under dash work I hope you took out the seat and laid a nice mattress. That’s how always do it. Like the one of the master cylinders in the LHD 164, definitely requires a mattress and the seat taken out. I agree with MD, I used a valve on the engine side for my Milano for the heater. Althou...

Re: Son of Cab a FWD racer?

Yeah the GT sits high, any higher and the driver would have to wear an oxygen mask. But still pretty damn impressive. I think he is bounded by rules to keep a minimum weight to be in his class, pretty sure if he can lose more weight he would pass the GTV6s. Which reminds me, in November, I get to te...

Re: Son of Cab a FWD racer?

MD,

Why did you sell your 2.0 SC Alfetta GTV? Was it because it didn’t have a centerfold? You’re a tough man to please.

Re: SA GTV6 2.5 restoration and few minor mods !

Simply fantastic!

By the way do you have an air compressor? The baking soda blaster also works well and just washes off. Cheaper than media and much easier on the aluminium than sand.

Re: Son of Cab a FWD racer?

Well he took my deposit money for headers, I’m assuming he is still alive and kicking, probably used my money to buy some drinks for the blonde bombshell from across town. :D Instead of having 6 reverse speeds, why not just run the engine backwards. Everyone knows that Alfa V6s loves to be turned ba...

For transaxle cars, this guy, Tan Motor (Ah Keong) is the last guy, probably in the whole country. After him, it would be me this forum, and phone calls to Kevin and Jim :D

I have some more photos of the interior and underside.

This was a 75 3.0 engine. EFI was from a 164 12V.
