Awesome Jim, simply awesome!
As I recall the ports were merely cleaned up and chambers CC'd.
So a 290 bhp GTA is not really fantasy afterall. And we're talking a streetable engine, not some crazy race shit.

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
Usd1k isnt bad for stainless. Here I can get it done for usd1.5k. I guess Athens must be an expensive place to live. But who cares now, because JKs headers are meant for big valve heads. My heds have stock valves, just mild porting. I installed CSC on mine, they are stainless now, and cheap too :) ....

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
"supposedly they are working on a 24v set"
This is starting to sound like "big bore headers for the 12V coming soon"

Re: Mats Strandberg (SWE)
Well i have to install my CSC headers before next weeks time trials. I also just finished a tming belt job on myToyota V8 tow vehicle. That V8 job really makes working on the Alfa look like a piece of cake. Just like you Im not that motivated to work on my race car its been sitting around for almost...

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
What about throttle reponse? I wonder if you lose the sharpness with an oversized single throttle as opposed to ITBs. But with good EMS programming you could probably get a big throttle with good response, just my guess. I think i will try to just improve th plenum outlet to the runners, bell mouth ...

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
JK, Are the ITBs going on this car? BTW, wouldn't it be more cost effective to have twin plenums and 2 smaller throttles? Ferrari ditched ITBs and used twin plenums. The last V8 to have ITBs was the F355. So I'm questioning the benefit of them I was wondering if we can pair the cylinders up in pairs...

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!
Did the pulley slip? Or did the timing belt skip a tooth? If the car ran fine before why did did mysteriously start missing now?

Re: Radiator swap (75 > GTV6)
I thought the GTV6 had an overflow tank? Maybe the Alfetta GTV with the chrome bumpers had the cap on the radiator? Remember how lots of GTV6 owners were complaining about cracked new coolant tanks? I think just install anything that is new and will fit properly. One radiator I didn't try to fit in ...

Re: Flipped ball joint LCA
Yes, I would consider a minimum of 16" wheels to clear the spindles or even bigger brakes in the future. But from the looks of it, the Maxima's balljoint is quite tall and you may need 17" at the very least!

Yes, Petros bond's GTV6 3.2 has both covers. Check his car in the intro section.

Michael,
Wow, this project has taken a while.
The seat is simply amazing.
Also I finally got around to buying a set of stainless steel (yes!) CSC headers, so I wont be bothering you for your set

Re: Mildew and Mildon't!
Another one? Hey you're still married? Ok for smoke you can get one of those ozone generators on ebay. May work for any sort of bed odor in the car. The interior will have a slightly chlorine like smell. open all windows after you run it in your car for about 30-60 mins. When you run it, hook up the...

Re: Mark walshaw
Very true Kev. One of the cars I would love to have is a nearly stcok GTV6.. Maybe a slightly modified, as in qv cams, 25mm torsion bars, but other wise a stock sounding 2.5 is really amazing. Now a SA3.0 is probably perfect stock, what with the throaty carbs sound effect!
