Re: Alfa Romeo Spyder Pininfarina 2uettottanta
True thing, Mats. You may be fishing for a 6ft blonde bombshell of a bikini model, but you'll more than likely hook a mid-life crisis. I was about to say that us Tasmanian's would love it in our climate... then remembered about the great big gaping hole in the ozone layer. Kind of a big thing to mis...

Don't you mean Vauxhall?
I don't know about you guys, but I kind of like it.
At least it would be a step in the right direction...
i.e. away from the MiTo and that new thing Fiat are trying to pedal as an Alfa.

Re: My favourite Alfa from the 2-day Alfa Romeo race weekend..
Could show off some of Tassie's world class backroads
Mind you, one car up to Melb would probably be easier than lots heading down here...
Either way, sounds like an idea at least! Would be good to meet some of you guys and talk crap for a day or two.

Re: My favourite Alfa from the 2-day Alfa Romeo race weekend..
Garth, Unfortunately had to miss it due to work commitments and a severe lack of funds! I would have loved to have gone... could have kicked myself when I saw photos of the parade lap alone! I guess I'll have to *try* and make up for it and the Alfa Museum in Italy this October  I'll be taking...

Re: My favourite Alfa from the 2-day Alfa Romeo race weekend..
Hey Garth, did you happen to catch a silver Alfetta GT on Tasmanian 'SI' plates? A bloke down here decided to twin charge one... 8) Pretty stock looking (aside from some 17" Simmons FRs) so hard to recognize I guess. Based on the pics he uploaded, he was a few cars back from a red Montreal, jus...

Re: Calloway turbo for sale
Is it just me, or has that car been mentioned on this forum before? I recall the story of one that had rusted out, so the owner transplanted everything into a healthier car. Surely out of the 30-odd made, there can't be many with the same story? I'd still happily take it off his hands if it were in ...

Ansa centre
I apologise to all if this has been answered already, brain poor from work and couldn't turn up anything on the search... I notice that a fair few people use the Ansa centres on the GTV6, but could not find a listing for them on the website? Vick Auto Sport of course have one available for a 75 (Mil...

Re: 85 FCM edition in Tasmania, Australia
How could I have missed that?! With the big Frank Crott Motors sticker in the rear window and everything! I thinks my eyes could do with some use perhaps?
Thanks for enlightening me.

85 FCM edition in Tasmania, Australia
G'day all... Been lurking here for a while and have finally sorted out my GTV6 after a heart-wrenching episode in which my first one was stolen after 3 weeks of ownership. To cut a long story short, a previous owner had lowered it beyond a sensible point and it wouldn't get down my driveway without ...

Re: Appealing to help from Forum members!!!
Man, my strongest sympathies go out to you and fingers are most certainly crossed for a positive outcome. Now I must apologise for moving off topic slightly, but it does become relevant - promise! I just had a car sent down from Sydney to Hobart and upon arrival, checked over the condition report et...

Re: Can anyone ID these rims?
Thanks for getting back to me! I was looking into the Andalusia and found this: http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alfetta-gtv6-1975-1986/21204-playboy-gtv6.html#post189513 Turns out they were fairly different and used a compomotive tele-dial style wheel (as you can see in one of the latter posts of th...

Can anyone ID these rims?
Hey all, I was looking at a GTV the other day with wheels on it that I hadn't seen before. At first I though aftermarket, but the owner assured me they were dealer fitted back in 85, along with the zender wing and momo trimmings in the cabin (shifter knob, steering wheel). Of course me being the foo...

Radio Console
G'day there, I've recently become the proud owner of an '83 GTV6. Even more recently, the car was stolen - 3 weeks after purchase! Anyway, aside from the $5k of mechanical damage the b******s took the whole radio console (the bit between the floor console and the air con unit - a few people have bee...
