This may sound like a silly question and I think I know the answer but do the HT leads from a 75 2.5V6 fit the GTV6 2.5? I am pretty sure they do but want to make sure before I pay my £50,

David Thomas Garages, near Welwyn Garden City, Herts.
I have been using this garage for the last year or so. They really know old Alfas and have done some servicing and recently changed my centre prop coupling. No fuss, car was ready on time and price was contained too. Totally recommend them as they really rock. My GTV6 is driving better than ever (I'...

New source of RHD headlights?
What do you think of these? Ebay compatibility checker suggests they fit the GTV6, this could be a crock but how many of us need new headlights? My main bugbear now on long trips is eyestrain at night because of my old, masked LHD headlights. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Valeo-Headlight-Headlamp-Dr...

Re: middle guibo
I would love to come down for one of these but our family day out was yesterday to the seaside. Will try to get down to Surrey for one of the events though one of these days.

Re: middle guibo
It worked fine! Garage said it was no problem to put on. Really pushed on the way home and all was sweetness and light. So far, so good. Thanks for the tip!

Re: middle guibo
Wow! Ok, so this is the one?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Febi-Join ... 56681a255e
And it is stronger, cheaper and won't hurt anything? Do you think the garage will freak out if I propose this?

Re: middle guibo
I wish I'd read this before, didn't know what a "guibo" was. Ok, I will look for a BMW one and see if it is much cheaper or maybe its just worth £89 + VAT to get an original one.

Propshaft Centre Coupling
Hello guys! I got an advisory on my MOT for a cracked centre propshaft coupling. Its the thin one on an '84 GTV6. The cheapest I can find is £89 + VAT. Is there a cheaper source of these or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and save up? My garage is quoting 2 hours labour to change it too. ...

Re: Fanbelt keeps losing tension.
Thanks Kevin, better nuts, bolts and washers have been ordered. Bottom nut wasn't that tight so thats a good tip too.

Re: Fanbelt keeps losing tension.
The belt is new but might not be the best quality, I have just ordered an OE quality one, but I think its probably the old nuts, bolts and washers that is causing the problem.

Re: Fanbelt keeps losing tension.
So, assuming all the nuts, bolts and washers are rubbish, what should I buy to sort this out? I am not very good with all the M numbers and stuff. Otherwise I'll just go to a hardware shop with the old ones. Cheers again.

Re: Fanbelt keeps losing tension.
Thank you Kevin, these nuts and washers are just the sorts of things that can disappear over time.
