Hi all..thanks for the chat Marc, I have been off the internet for 2 weeks due to building renovations at home and of course flew off to Zambia and Angola for a week.
Identifying stolen vehicles from South Africa there.
No Marc, nor Ferrari's but all of them Toyota Prado`s !!

Re: Alternative gearbox for 2.5 or 3.0
The six sedan gearbox is rather a crappy affair. I would rather use the BMW Getrag 5 speed long ratio or 5 speed dogleg short ratio box. They center up on the six sedan bell housing but do need a 10mm adapter plate as the gearbox input shaft is 10mm too long. I would also not use the six sedan diffe...

Re: GTV6 Zender
I have never seen the caliper break off like that ! Every single one Ive seen or attended to ripped the studs from the ally housing !
repairable by welding all up again and re doing the hole for the stud .

Re: Adaptronic...? Or Dizzy...?
Garth, dont know the adaptronic at all..will Google and have a look for you. I have a philosophy when it come to these modified cars. Keep it real simple. I use a dizzy with rotor and plug leads,re curve the dizzy for the turbo application and its dead reliable. As humans we want the latest and great...

Re: 3 liter, 24 valve engine project
Both made by the same company.Kevins designs.
Made on jigs that kevin spent hours on perfecting.
If it was not for this guy a lot of conversions would not be happening.

Nothing wrong with the headers.3mm? Take it off,no problem.
The silvery ones are simply Powercoated, thats all.
Mats, yes, plenty of clearance.Things are not just thrown into a box and hope that it all works.
Kev,told you-not worth getting involved.

Re: Few pics of single turbo install-Barry
Garth, theoretically she should be making no more than 240 wheel hp.All my "std" conversions do that. I experimented with the actual turbo as I was politely informed by the younger generation that I was still a dinosaur with my turbo selection. I went the Turbonetics route after some carefu...

Re: Few pics of single turbo install-Barry
Hey Carel..(Thanks for all the help btw...)
No,Yours will be "softer" as such..Id rather have it come on boost low down and sacrifice 100hp up top than having a ball breaker...
Makes for a more enjoyable car as well..especially at your age..
