I have been re-pouring V6 engine mounts in polyurethane and as a result I have seen a few engine mounts recently. I know what you mean, if you stuck a screwdriver in one of the cracks and levered you'd get a chip off? I haven't done many yet (I really need peoples old ones) but all that I have seen ...

Lowering the car is unlikely to make the ride less comfortable, unless you choose rear springs that are a lot stiffer than standard, or you just cut coils from the standard springs which will also make them stiffer. Of course if you lower it so much that it bottoms out that won't be comfrotable eith...

That's a little bit like mine. On mine the clear protective film came off and the enamel got oxidized. The blue faded, the red turned to brown, the green went sorta black. I (carefully)used some cutting compound which removed the oxidation, but the colour is gone forever. Yours looks like it's suppo...

Old engine mounts needed
My Dad and I made a mould to re-make RWD V6 engine mounts (75, 90, GTV6, Milano, 6) but we need the old ones for the plates. We have a mould for front and rear engine mounts, but the front ones seem harder to get so that's what we concentrate on. It doesn't matter how bad they are, if you don't need...

On 75's, the fluid for the headlamp washers comes from a separate pump on the windscreen washer reservoir. It's the bigger pump. The line is quite big and runs underneath the coil , and then around the outside of the battery and through the hole underneath the left hand headlight to a T-piece behind...
