Re: Uruguayan Giulie
My gearbox is from a 75 Tb, also LSD equipped but a little longer final drive. I also have the thicker driveshafts with the spacer between the discs and driveshafts. 5 lug wheels. 164 v6 24v discs and callipers up front with adapters welded to the spindle. This set was race-proven on a 75 TS over h...

Re: Uruguayan Giulie
click here  I used 3.0 164 engine with 3.0 75 flywheel. propshaft is custom with original front alfa giubio and UJ in the middle and CV joint at the rear. 164 Motronic was an easy fit. My Giulietta is an early one with the plastic tank. I modified a VW Polo tank-element with integrated pump t...

Re: Uruguayan Giulie
Nice! I didn't have to cut up the propshaft after all, amazingly it ended up having the same distance as with the 1.6, i'm using the 164 flywheel with the 1.6 flywheel attached, all balanced and lightened to match the 2.5 V6 flywheel weight. Where did you mount the fuel pump? I ended up modifying th...

Re: My rebuild!
Kevin, I'd go so far as to say that it's a certainty I will put a blower on it (I appreciate the pressure!!!!) - but I want to experience the beauty of my little screamer for just a little bit longer- there's something very satisfying about changing gears at 8000  I'll need to begin the lo...

Re: My rebuild!
C'mon Jules you can do it , put the blower on . ( no pressure - excuse the pun) it's the right solution . Your Ozzie dollar is not that bad . I would buy it in a flash but could build a whole car for that price plus 100% import duty - here in Serf efrika Nice, you seem to endure the same problems w...

Re: Mats Strandberg (SWE)
1200 km to the Ring and 2 laps of the Nordschleife the 155 performs flawlessly. Just under 10l/100Km @ ~150Km/h pace. I'm impressed. We're at the Pistenklause now and it's of course hot as hell and one if us (not me) have just had a beer poured all over him by a sloppy waitress.. Oh well, better th...

Great, i'll PM you for the details on price, thanks!Greg Gordon wrote:The M90 will work pretty well on a 3.0. I have pulleys, but no discharge ports for the M90. I never bolted up an M90 so I don't have anything specific for it.

Re: 280 Rear wheel horsepower on a low budget
Hey Greg, since you are not building your SC kit's anymore I was thinking about doing it the cheap way and getting a SC out of Ebay. I was looking around and just could find M90's, no M62's, I know it's a bit big but it can work on a 3L.
You still sell the pulleys, tensioner and discharge port right?

Re: Race tyres review section and advice ( slick/semi slick)
Their is a set of Toyo 205/50/ZR15 PXR 888 tyres here , probably the only set in the country . Has anyone got experience with these.? Our market here is 90% Bridgestone and balance Dunlop . ( kinda like blue silicone hose only :D ) I use them at the track here, great tire, lot's of grip, on the rac...

Re: Giulietta race car preparation
Time for an update We finally decided on a cheap approach just to get the car going: TS Camshafts AE high compression slipper pistons (I had those) Worked 1750 head to Jim K's specs with 2L intake valves. Balanced assembly and lightened flywheel RS suspension setup with non adjustable shocks (rules ...
