Re: What sort of Alfa cars we want
Open letter to Fiat/Alfa Romeo, I was at the Seattle car show last December. While in the BMW section I noticed a white 4-door 3-series sedan, just like all the other white 4-door Toyotas, Hondas, Fords, etc, etc, etc, . . . . I see so many of these automotive appliances when I walk through the huge...

Remote Oil Filter & Oil Cooler
I’m sure someone out there has installed a remote oil filter on a GTV6 or 75/Milano ? I’ve got two things going on; the first is I’d like to be able to change the oil filter without having oil drool down the side of the oil pan. It’s hard to completely clean which results in a dirty engine in no tim...

Hi Mike, I had a fun time at Bremerton Raceway Park. I've got Toyo Proxis track tires and had them on for the second time. What a difference compared to old hard highway tires. Did have an issue with coolent overflowing out of the new aluminum surge tank. I'll install a catch bottle, but it may be t...

Otherwise I wouldn't have been so pissed off. Any other car and it would have been gone. To this day I always enjoy driving i...

My GTV6 just about burned itself up one day. Failed oxygen sensor that made the engine run too rich. I left it idling in the garage (before I knew of the problem) while I went to the other side of the house on an errand. When I came back there was smoke coming from the undercoating and a puddle of a...

Never heard of that 3M rubber wheel there Mats. I think I'll try the hair dryer first. Also, the forcast is for 70deg F this Saturday so I'll allow for some heat soak in the sun and give it a try. That rubber wheel sounds interesting though. If my first try doesn't work out too well, I'll see if I c...

Removing Door Stripes
Anyone out there have suggestions on removing pin stripes ?
They look like factory tape type stripes on the door I installed and I'd like to remove them without damaging the paint.
Thanks,
Merril

Swapping Door Parts -Advise Requested
My driver side door was recently dented in, all my fault, but now I have a replacement and need to swap the glass, and winder hardware. I've got information on the winder hardware but am unsure how best to remove the window and corner glass (and the rest of it for that matter). I did a search on thi...

X-rad, I got the one with the nob adjustment (instead of lever), p/n 260-8419. I found an adapter at pegasusautoracing.com that had 1/8NPT to M10x1 but the gender appears to be the revese of what I want. This adapter has male metric threads (10x1.0mm) and female 1/8 NPT threads. I could add more ada...
