Re: 3 liter, 24 valve engine project

The GoPro video I shot that day has proven to be pretty good - only problem is that I mounted the camera on the outside of the car so the audio sucks.
Next track day, I'll figure out how to mount it on the inside of the car...

Re: 3 GTV6 cars at one track event !

I have been running the local (Pacific Northwest ~ Seattle) Alfa club track events since 2003 and (disregarding the 2009 national convention) I have never seen more than 2 GTV6's participating on any one day - so 3 was amazing. I think the recent event had 40 cars participating - only ~4 were Alfas,...

Nice - that looks like TunerStudio - do you know if he is running Megasquirt?

Re: JK 24v 3liter ..at last!

Hmm - you might consider Megasquirt if the stock EMS is FUBAR. The latest version (MegaSquirt-III with the MS3X Expansion Card) can support all the 24v requirements right out of the box (no soldering or mods of any sort). http://www.ms3efi.com/ I'm upgrading my MS2 system this weekend and will post ...

Re: 3 liter, 24 valve engine project

The air filter works really well behind splash guard . You always garanteed of cold air . It's amazing how many people will ask if this is an intercooler pipe :D The only mod was to bend the horn bracket. Are you gonna put a cam cover on left bank and cut out for filler cap . It will finish off the...

Re: 3 liter, 24 valve engine project

Some updates in 2012 8) Last year, I had found massive leaks in the intake manifold. I considered the options (thanks for the ideas above) - and decided to have the coatings stripped off so I could have a better look. The welds were more awful than I thought and so I decided professional interventio...

Re: Recaro seats - tailor-made for a GTV6

Thanks - I pick them up on Sunday :)
