3.0 24V - your suggestions
As already posted in the Introduce yourself. I am from Slovakia and while not owning a transaxle yet will do so sooner or later. However I had the chance to purchase a 3.0 24V from an early 166 automatic which I began to strip down following Jims bible and learning at a friend who has one of the fir...

Re: From Slovakia
Began welding the engine stand. Decided to make one with adjustable height. Not that it would be necessary just to amuse me a bit more and gain welding experience.

Re: Alex's barbie & GTV's galore !
Thank you Kevin. Interesting reading. I have actually purchased the same engine and will need to keep the termostat configuration. So I might need to use the plan B and guide the hoses from the back to the front I guess.

Re: Alex's barbie & GTV's galore !
Would you mind asking Kevin? The 3.2 looks like is the one with thermostat at the back (right side in the FWD). Am I right?
If yes what sort of modifications are necessary? How did you fit the engine inside the RWD?

Re: Father son project
Congratulation powermods. Seem to me like a very early version and even not in original color I like it. Is it a conversion from a TS? I also noticed the whole ignition key unit is removed and replaced with a button. So you don't need a key to start it at all?

Thanks kevin. Would love to say yes however the truth is I don't know. I have the feeling the throttle response is a bit better and it revs more freely. However I'm not driving the GTA that often. Planning to take it on a DYNO however won't have anything to compare as it will be the first DYNO and t...

Re: From Slovakia
Just bought me a "toy" to play with during long winter nights on Saturday. Still don't know what it will be good for and that the termostat is on the wrong side of the engine for the RWD cars. However could not resist for that price. http://imageshack.us/a/img571/8122/pc22.jpg http://image...

Hello Wolfgang. a great looking race car you have there. Would love to join some historical races however with more stock like car. My plan is to buy a GTV6 and use it as a street car most of the time. Is there a category for such "low profile" tuned cars? How do you like the Slovakia Ring...

Re: From Slovakia
Don't have many good pictures. However at least some: Bought the car in Slovenia. Can recommend that country. Most of the people really care about their cars and usually keep them original. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/383/eurg.jpg Second set of tires on OZ Ultraleggeras for the track http://ima...

Hello Alfa fans. My name is Martin and I've been interested in Alfa Romeo since I was a boy and our neighbor bought an used 33 TD. We never had enough money to buy one however always sticked with an Italian car - 127, UNO, Stilo, etc. When the 156 was first introduced I just went to University and t...
