Boy, Dennis, you sure are a tough customer! I think the Catcams 1030206 is an excellent profile for a Godzilla engine. Just make sure your engine builder can accommodate 6.5mm lift at TDC, which isn't easy at all when going for high CR. You'll need some very clever piston design. Aaaaah, now that's...

Mats, I want about 240 NM of torque and around 200 hp  TSturbo, I didn't know the Nord cams would fit a TS. I was looking at catcams and these are the wildest cam they offer for the TS: partnr. 1030526 duration [0.1mm+s] 303 / 303° duration [1.0mm+s] 268 / 268° max. lift 13.45 / 13.45mm lift a...

Can someone explain what is a good camshaft for a TS engine? Or know of a book I can buy on the theory? I don't know what to look for. Lift is good for torque, but what duration should I be looking at? Jim has offered to give me good advice when the flow numbers come in, but I would like to get a he...

I can only speak from what I've heard, I don't have any experience. The guy who owns/claims the 230hp TS has sold me the ITB' and intake manifold because he's trying slide throttles and another intake to get more. Who am I to believe? The man who does my machining has done most of the valve seats an...

Hey Micke, glad you chimed in. What can I say, I'm a terrible optimist  I appreciate all the input I can get. I know that a wide torque band (for a racing engine) will compromise top end. I think I will need a wide torque band since I'm not a very experienced racedriver and will go to tracks I...

Well I've long gone past the trackday budget. I'm just trying to save where possible and work my ass off for the needed budget. What I mean by a big hp screamer is 240 hp with the TS engine. I'm guessing, around 200 hp will do for now and keep cost where I still can afford it. If I choose to keep th...

Mike, The trumpets are inside the airbox and are full radius  I will post a pic this weekend. I will alter the airbox to my own design because the airbox isn't good. It's WAY to big so there is no ram effect. Anyone have a suggestion on my CR dilemma? I'm waving BIG schnitzels in the air.......

Zamani, The cage is extended to the front suspension towers. I need the stiffer front end because I'm running coilovers (no torsion bars). The rear is mounted to the rear shock towers. I have some pics somewhere, but I don't know where..... Hey Mike! I will post some pics with the intake mani...
