Welcome here.. You say it's a 1976 car? I think there is something wrong... The older types would have a totally different nosepiece,yours has a late model nose. Also you have the plastic 'triangles' behind the rear windows while they should be metal.and those are things that are not easily intercha...

Earliest 156 2.5 24v i've seen was from 1997 i believe and that one had a chain driven pump.

The 'clamping bar' that goes over the battery can also cause some nice sparks if it gets loose.. :wink:

Difference in wheelbase is 240 cm vs 251 cm, so 11cm difference. All sedan models have the 251 cm wheelbase, Milano/75 / Giulietta 116 and Alfetta sedan. The engine has no bearing in the crank, that sits in the flywheel. :wink: milano shaft is something like 4-5 inches longer, don't remember which half is longer/shorter. Just drop the entire rear suspension and gearbox for spares! synchros and clutch are becoming harder to buy for instance. Everythin...

Die anyone know that the wheelbearing is exactly the same size as one from a bmw e30?

You just miss that special left or righthand threaded nut that you need for the alfa.

Yeah, i got the independent part.

But i'm wondering how much difference there would be between this very complicated set-up and an adjustable de-dion like Stan's.

We actually had luck with the penalty shoot out. :shock:

Holland usually sucks at penalty's but this time they nailed it.the last minute keeper-swap was a good idea. :D
