the double caliper thing was original on the Giulietta Turbodelta... it uses very rare autodelta spindles and two calipers each side.

Don't know what they did with the mastercylinder to make it work properly.

what i was trying to say is that the heat coming from the brakes soaks into the couplings of the shaft, killing the grease inside of the boots. on the v6 there is a adapter thing that places the shafts further away from the brakediscs which keeps the couplings cooler. when the grease is fried the co...

the input shaft is also different as Barry says. easiest option is to swap the driveshafts together with the piece at the wheelside. you can use gtv 4cyl. stuff for this. you also can't use the brakediscs off a GTV6. the driveshafts on a 75 TS are not so good as the ones used on the Tb/v6. this is d...

Getting it installed is a real pain-in-the-***-job, i saw that immediately.. The thing is very long.. Greg, do you know if it is a self-lubricating design as for example an Eaton? reason i ask is that there seems to be an oil connection on the charger :? Never saw this on the Eaton M45 i had ...

info on mazda lysholm supercharger??

Hello, is there anyone who can tell me more about the Lysholm style supercharger as used on mazda's 2.3 v6 engine in the Xedos? It's manufactured bij IHI. I need to know how much air it moves in 1 rotation and how much revs it can handle... 8) I have bought one criminally cheap and am wondering if i...

How about a 3.0 24v 164 engine with a 2.5 crank in it? Have a 24v with a bad crankshaft in it and a good 2.5 one lying around... If i just put it in without changing the s/e bushing would get low compression, ideal for the M90 Eaton :D What would be a wise idea to do with all of these parts? -get a ...

gta pistons in a 3.0?

Would it be possible to use the pistons of a GTA in a normal 3.0 24v engine? The longer stroke should mean that the pistonpen would sit higher in the piston so the piston height is lower than standard. nice for a supercharger/ turbo set up. What CR would you get if you would use GTA pistons in a 3.0...

the euro 2.5v6 was a lot lighter because it used the older type of bumpers, like on the TS and old Turbo. The harmonica-style bumpers on the USA types are a hole lot heavier than the thinner euro spec items. I also think there is a 49 ltr tank in the euro 2.5 versus the 68 ltr in the USA spec.

MD: resale value is not a problem for me, the car will never be sold! :) The biggest reason for me to change to the front mount box is the planned output for the v6 TT engine... The standard Alfa gearbox would not be very happy with this and it would cost me too much money to make it work properly. ...

What about using a front mount box from a BMW 535i? I'm not really into the gearingnumbers, i just want an unbreakable box that shifts nice and firm... For the gearing-minded people :) : BMW 535i E34: 1st 3.83 2nd 2.20 3rd 1.40 4th 1.00 5th 0.79 Together with a Alfa Sei diff, which looks abso...

Last week there was a re-run of an old episode off Top Gear on tv over here. Jeremy Clarkson was made fun off that he took 9.59min to make a lap in a Jaguar ?? Diesel  . A german lady called Sabine Schmidt told him she could do that in a Van! :) Off course this Sabine has driven 15.000 laps......
