105 Dreaming.....

Some help with the different models would be appreciated guys! I know the twin headlight models (which I like best) are Jr's, but what of the gearbox and diff strength in these things? Am i better off getting a 1750 or 2000? What about weight, and gearing? Any links about? My parents are splitting u...

I think you will find that the higher clearance the rest of the car has is to facilitate the suspension mods on it- that is Mark Pap's dad's car, with a 300hp 1.8t in it- one of the best presented alfa racers in the country IMO. It's the direction I am leaning towards with my car... except with MORE...

Blasphemy!?!?!

Aww mats I think that is the best wide body kit around for a GTV6!

And in my "Retire my car, stick the motor in a 105, and get serious with the Alfetta" Dreams (for when I have some money!), I will definitely do something like that!

Cmon Z! Here's a taste of what it could be like! TS 8V. Stock Valves and Cams Good Rods, forged pistons 7.8:1 3" thick I/C and nice pipework w/ a good tuned length manifold, and a GT25 with an Ext W/G- you'd be ableto pump 25psi into it, and the HP figure would get to an easy 380 f/w. Add cams ...

Julian- Taking an extended Leave of Absence

Well guys, my big move happens on Monday, so I will be absent from the forums for a while- lack of internet connection will certainly help me study good and proper!!! Keeping the six, as she is a freeway demolition machine, even with the 4.3:1! Love it... I guess in the worst case scenario, I will s...

Awesome? Shucks! A blown forced induction setup seems my only way to get my car to the torque point I want. Then I could keep it as a streeter. And my girlfriend could drive it, and I could drink some nights! Haha Yeah I'm not too keen on thicker headgaskets, as I believe that it simply creat...

Yeah but that way you're gonna get the hotter charge air of the higher boost setting, whether you bleed it off or not.... the best boost controller is your right foot! I woudn't ever bother with boost controllers. I really must say, that my opinion of volumetric blowers has really changed in the las...

NewtonMetres! Mmmmmm! Plenty of em! I wonder whether it will work as nicely with my cams and a comp drop!?!? I must admit, this is really appealing as far as a street car is concerned!!!! No need to stuff around with gearboxes other than what I already have in..... and the torque..... I cant wait to...

Cheers Kev! Glad you liked my little Revver! It was a thoroughly enjoying time- hearing all of these stories showed us how far behind the rest of the world are when it comes to performance Alfa Romeos!! Tales eliciting sounds of wastegate flutter and blow off valves, accompanied with seat sucking to...

Besides, you're not too far from Chicago there, a...
