Re: ACTUAL budget race GTV6... suggestions?

On the other hand a small clubcircuit need a car that turns in very well, but can be a little nervous someti...

Re: Bielstein shocks

That is the standard type shocks for the Alfetta Chassis. It is a Twin-tube shock
like a standard one, for sporty driving you need the monotube ones!

Interesting bump-stops acting against the top arms. GTV6 and early 75's had them facing against the lower arm, right?
No, the older cars Alfetta, Giulietta, GTV6 up to app late -85 has bumpstops like that, Later GTV6 and 75 has them on the shocks.

Have a nice day!

Isn't this a ALFA GTV6 forum? An Alfa without its own heart is no Alfa!

None of these aregood shocks, very low on the quality ladder.
Rather buy good quality nonadjustables than bad adjustable!

True, but if you have to earn the money it can be good to know what you get, and what you pay for it. Don't you agree?

Some lucky sucker here just transferred money in today for a screaming 24 valve 3.0 budget motor that makes more power on pump gas and 10.5:1 CP than the current 3.2 GTA race cars!!!

JJ, can you give some info on this engine? Specification, price and
what parts needed as basis?

Grip

I always thought that one of the good things with the De Dion
is that the wheels is vertical all the time, so you have the full
contact patch of the tyre at a start. Compare to an independent axle like BMW, where te wheel go to negative camber under a start with less even contact patch?!
