my light does the same thing but i havnt had any starting issues...since i replaced the battery last year with an optima red top

clean and inspect the connections at the battery as well as the primary power and ground points

loseing the tach...hmm that sucks....what about running a single new fresh signale wire wire to the tach from the coil...this should give you the tach back without effecting the speedo with the projects i take on ..or should i say throw myself into i have to think so far outside the box that i cant ...

ok sorry im just going from a signal referance point of veiw... this may sound VERY weird but what about pulling the speedo out ..and wireing it to the sender ...EG wired with its own wires not the stock harness setup...i know you bench tested it but a road test is in order.......it sounds to me lik...

you might try running a direct feed off the battery to the sender and see if the signal cleans up....it sounds EXACTLY like the transaxle swap issue and the only fix was to either A go into the wireing and seperate the tach wireing from the speedo wireing as the signal is bleeding... or to eliminate...

x pipe was a must imo already....but the question is...where do you mount it..and would a x-flow muffler be even better...doing the job of crosovering and queiting at the same time?

it should drop idle if you pull ANY plug wire.......how old are the plugs and wires? ive tracked injector issues by unpluging them like you would a plug wire another thing to check is if you have an IR temp ..you can temp each exhaust port on the manifolds...if any one of them is high its lean if an...

get some turbo 944 porsche twin fans...they kick ass and are MUCH better built.....the mounting only need some 1 inch aluminum or steel tabs to mate it up
