Why big rears? When you brake, the rear goes light, lock the rear wheels, flat spot some expensive race rubbers. I think Barry has big rears (rear disc I mean, what were you all thinking??), and he said he would have gone for smaller ones. BTW LENZ, can you get me used 155 V6 cams? I don't know why ...

JimK,

I think Mats meant a receipt.

BTW, Jose, why don't you just use the Supra rotors and FD RX-7 calipers (also 4-pots)? They look nice (the calipers). Minimal fabrication.

The only problem is you can't say you have a Brembo 4-pot caliper to all your friends.

Hold on guys, give the fecking engine a chance will ya, even if it was made in the land of roos and koalas. :D . Alfa still has the heads.

Have some faith, the old Alfa engines were kinda long in the tooth. Seriously, it's 2005, the Alfa V6 still had no VVT?

Baz,

That's a QV motronic engine, so it should have the QV cams. The stock 3.0 cams are worthless for high revs.

Yeah, the Q4 does, but the Q and Super doesn't. The Q4 is Fantastic stuff, there are only 2 Q4s here in CA 8)

BTW, isn't hot-film used in many VAG cars (an even Alfa?).

JimK, I fully agree with you. Totally stupid in my opinion (AR that is hehe). 1996, the 2nd Top of the line model, the 164 Q, had a....flap AFM? BMW ditched it way back in 1992 with the E36 320i (some 318i still had it). I think they only STARTED getting serious with the revised 155, 145,146s. I hop...

This car nearly matches a race (ok club race) prepped M3. OK d...

OK that's it. My 75 is going to the crusher. I'm going to get an DC2 Interga Type R with a hybrid B20 block and B18C heads, TODA cams, mugen headers and exhaust, HONDATA chip. oh and LED "euro" lights. Been great, but Alfa has no VTEC See ya! (BTW, this car will crush an E30 M3 2.5 16V Cec...
