Hey Bill: Thanks for the pic! Interesting to hear that your MS stopped responding - mine did much the same last weekend and I really think I have it wired up according to the LJet-->MS Pin-out diagram except that I wired MS pin 28 to LJet pin 28 (instead of 29 as indicated in the diagram). Anyway, I...

Ljet - MegaSquirt conversion pinout diagram.

I followed the diagram exactly but am puzzled by LJet pins 29 and 10 and Megasquirt pin 10. I can see that Megasquirt pin 28 needs to be supplied with switched 12+, but when I switch on the ignition, LJet pin 29 is not powered by 12V+ (though LJet pin 28 is). Peter Florance's document does not indic...

Hey Merril - hope to see you at PR for a few of the track days this year - the calendar is looking pretty good! My strategy for brakes is underway. I had horrendous brake problems last year, once almost crashing into a desperately over-braking Beeemer when my brakes practically failed. So, I'm getti...

Wideband O2 sensor use with MSquirt.

Hey guys: Found this in another forum (non-Alfa): Then you can buy whatever wideband O2 set up you want (I'll be getting the Zeitronix ~$400). The MS has an input for your wideband. Tell it what AFR you want to run, and the MS will adjust your fuel at any given point on the tach, under any load, in ...

Hi Barry:

My thoughts echo what the others have said - this Forum would be a much poorer place without your participation!
I hope you will reconsider and stick with us here.
Cheers mate,

Re: Photo of alternate fuel pump circuit

Hey everyone, I followed Steve R.'s instructions for the alternate fuel pump circuit. Here's a photo - thought it might help somebody else. Hi Bill: Can you post a pic of the reverse side (want to double check how I installed the 1N4001 Diode on the bottom of PCB)? This pic you posted has been very...

OK thanks Bill - I'll see what I can find.
I just got my order from Digikey with all the parts needed to convert my MS board to Steve Rossers' specs :D ... so the wiring is the last thing I'll need to address.

Knowing that the Alfa valve in my car is pretty old now (and new ones tough to come by), I installed a secondary heater valve from, I think, a VW, out in the engine bay, inline in the standard hose which feeds the heater valve. In summer (or when going to the track), I shut the valve so that I have ...

No - dont use the 164S "Thermal mechanical" tensioner. I've had 3 break in the past year or so! I now use the standard Alfa tensioner, but modified by welding up the oil feed stud, sealing the oil return hole and then filling the tensioner cylinder with grease so that it cannot mov...

Wires attaching FlyBack board to main board?

Hi Guys: My MS project is underway. I bought this unit assembled and tested and the Flyback board is included. Is seems to work OK - I have tested with the Stimulator board. The 1st issue I'm running into is that the wires which the builder used to connect the Flyback board to the main MS board are ...
