Re: Spotted...
I think it belongs to a guy who made a small appearance on this forum under the name GracianoR. If it is, that car has a few parts in it that I removed from my car - rear seat belts, child restraint anchor points etc to meet local regs. I never got to see the car but I know the engineer who blue pla...

Re: Daniel's 24v
My Dad's is far more sleeper than mine - 3L from 164 under the stock 2L bonnet, GTV2.0 badge still on the back. Look closer (for those that know Alfas) and you see 5 stud wheels and 4 spot brakes. It is a little rumblier than a 4 banger at idle but not much, it's when you nail it that it screams lik...

Re: Daniel's 24v
Thanks, I like the look that has come together with the bumpers and bonnet - not too overstated.
Do you think that it's a bit of a givaway that it isn't stock anymore ? Maybe the 4 two inch pipes out the back will do that.

Re: Race Animal ?
That's right Kev, Mike and I are not interchangable. He's shorter than me, and then there's looks too. We do live in the same city and have the same Alfa disease though.
I'd love some more pics of the bonnets and the car and any spec details you have and can give freely.

Race Animal ?
Does anyone have any details on this car?
Like, where can I get this bonnet ?
Hell, where can I get the engine ?

Re: Daniel's 24v
Hey, nice vents Mats but I actually hadn't seen yours when I made mine (a couple of years ago now)
There is some evil itb engined thing (in the UK I think) with a fibreglass bonnet that has 4 vents - 2 at the front, 2 rear. I saw pics of it years back and liked the idea.

Re: Introduction
Remember Rookie, there's a gearbox & diff multiplying that torque.
Great power there Chuck - wish I could get mine to that stage.

Re: Alfetta clutch on 75 TS box
What you're looking at there is a twin plate vs single plate setup AFAIK all twin plates were mounted this way and all single plate were mounted off the clutch housing. All 2.0 TS were single plate. As to which is stronger - well, Alfa went back to the single for the 3 litre 75s/milanos but it's a m...

Re: replacement headlights
My 2 cents worth Put relays into the system near the headlights - 1 relay per bulb filament works well and make sure the supply voltage is up to scratch. 12v = dull yellow light, 13.8v+ = bright white. For years we ran 3 x double relays (= 6 realys) in my parents Alfetta sedan (4 round lights, not t...

Re: Daniel's 24v
Did some muffler testing on the weekend - used a mates Mazda MX5 with straight thru 2.25" system. This car is pretty lolud at full noise. Stuck one of my mufflers on the back and made a huge difference. I think I'll leave the centre muffler out of my system when I do it. Also got a set of seats...

Thanks Mike, but I'm actually loking to clone myself so I can get all of my work done and play at the same time. Sorry if I don't respond for a while some times but I do get back here eventually. Here's some more pics of a little more progress. I put the bonnet on and found that the Motronic's AFM d...
