My 164 3.0 24v engine had (No longer has  ) the thin runners which measure about 38mm ID but the plenum ports are 43mm ID. The rubber couplings from the plenum to the runners step down then the bottom of the runners ftare back up to 43mm ID again where they bolt to the injector manifold plate....

I thought the later cars had a joiner in place of the pressure limiting valve (it is not true proportioning). I know that there are plenty over here that have tossed away the limit valve and put in the joiner from a late model - it is a bolt in.

BUT there is also a bit of science involved in where to put the crossover and even the shape/merge.
I've seen testing on a V8 but never on a V6.

Why doesn't anybody ever try to swap a 3.0 crank into a Nord to get more power? I did. It works really well. You just have to move the block, pistons etc etc with it and remove all of the extranious nord bits. Seriously, mismatching between ring and pinion sets, even of the same type (say 75 ...

When I finally bought my 24v, I actually had a Ferrari 3.2 V8 lined up as well but in the end the Alfa V6 won out on cost (1/3 the price of the Fazza engine) and ease of fitment (no custom bell housing etc)

Where's the usual MD replies to this sort of stuff ??
You haven't gone and buried your head under a 75 dash have you ?

Talk to Barry, he's made 105 ones but I thought they fitted 116s as well.

I looked into this a few years back - tossing up the idea of 3.0 24v vs V8 for my GTV.
I'm sure I found some stuff on the GTV8s about using Monty engines but at 3 litres.
I'll have to see if I can dig it out.

Offset is the same, bolt size is different - either M8 or M10. There is a spacer that fits with the shorter half shafts/drive shafts which I think are the ones with the bigger bolts (GTV6 & 90 ?), while the 75TS has the longer shafts, no spacers and smaller bolts. The PCD of the holes on the stu...

Yep, it is a modified 75 Evo replica - nice and light. Also correct - it is a Serpent one from Mark Pap. Kevin, I hope to do more than intimidate the flying brick. The plan is to give Mike one look at the front bar in his rear view, then only give him a diminishing view of the rear bar and tail pipe...

I'm with these guys. If you want to shift faster, move your hand quicker but at least wait until the trans oil is warm. Actually, if you have issues with the transaxle gear linkage it can be cured. If you want less slop in the linkages, replace the bushes. If you want a shorter shift, modify the lev...

Wheel Adapters

I can do any stud pattern with any cantre spigot diameter (62mm and up - standard Alfa spigot is 58.5mm), annodised in any colour for $500 (Australian) per set of 4 including studs, wheel nuts, countersunk bolts and nuts. Minimum thickness is 14mm front and 20mm rear, more is possible.
