Outer ends lower than inner ends gives best roll centre and camber gain, the opposite puts the roll centre somewhere below the road and no camber gain in bump. Greater distance from C of G to roll centre = larger roll couple = more body roll. I have seen lowered gtvs handle far worse than standard o...

I'm working on a price now.

Forget 5x100 wheels - choices are limited and the factory ones (Toyota Celica/Camry & Subaru) have smaller centre spigots than Alfas.
Almost everything runs 5 x 114.3, so wheel choices are huge.

Grant Counter bore is ... mmmm Think of the hole that the stud protrudes through. Now bore a larger hole, big enough diameter for the nut (and the socket to do it up) and deep enough that the nut sits fully inside it..... Ah, too hard to explain, I'll go take a picture. Fronts are countersunk bolts ...

Daniel, how did you get a counter-sunk bolt on there? The only adapters I've seen require wheels with "pockets", which seems to only apply to some after market wheels? Fronts are countersunk - bolted to the hub & brake rotor and the whole assembly then put onto the stub axle. Rears ar...

or early Mazda MX5 seats - a mate of mine ran a pair of these in a Mini Moke with room to spare and that's damn narrow - also pretty comfortable and supportive. He also fitted them in his '67 Mini which is even smaller.

I've been running adapter plates (5 x 114.3 - Nissan, Mazda, Ford etc) for years. I agree with Micke, I made mine so they centre on the hub and centre the wheel (easy with Nissan / Mazda wheels - 66 or 68mm centre bore) A heap of people bagged me about running them but they are bullet proof - they h...

Ok, remember that all of these MCs are actually imperial A 22mm is actually 22.2, a 24mm is 23.8 & a 25mm is 25.4mm So the change from "22mm" to "24mm" is only a 15% increase in xsection (and therefore 15% pedal stroke reduction and 15% rise in pedal force) where the "25...

Headlight relay :?: Alfas don't have them. That's why the stalk switches burn out - whole of current going through them. Then people put larger wattage globes in and draw even more current through the stalk switch and then, Bob's your auntie, switch don't work no more. Add a relay for each light, pu...

I have a stock hatch, a GTV 2.0 bonnet and slightly modded GTV6 bonnet that I will weigh this weekend. I plan to replace the rear glass with poly carb so that will make a little difference.
