The master cylinder you have there looks correct, just remove the hydraulic booster. The cylinder size is marked under the reservoir. From what I could find, the 25mm cylinder was only fitted to the 750 series BMs, the 730/733/735 only had 23mm ones. The booster on Dad's GTV is genuine original 1985...

Hi kevin Not sure the sizing is correct yet but I'm trying 2 x 19mm brake masters. Having no booster means that you need a different pedal length to master cylinder ratio. I did some calcs and came up with the ratio and cylinder sizes but need to do some testing - also depends on the calipers you us...

Like almost everything else on my car - custom made by me.
It's easy to do if you have access to the right equipment.

Hey Jarle
I like the suspension bits. I'll do something like that for the next evolution of this car. I just need to get it going now - I want track time

The more bits we weigh and post, the better.

I finally did this conversion on my Dads car to match the 4 spotters and 295 rotors on the front. It works well !
The simple solution to taking out the pedal slack is to get a booster with adjustable rod length  - I'd never seen one until this one !

Jim, I'm that one guy !
Never have been into Muscle cars.
Give me a lightweight little screamer any day.
I guess that's why I like things like the Exige.

What do your bits weigh ?

I'm ( FINALLY !! :D ) at the stage of putting stuff back into my car and I wanted to know where the weight is going in - for when I decide I need to get rid of some more. I plan to weigh as many of the bits as I can before they go back in - including the complete engine and complete transaxle...
