Then reinforced full length down each side with 6mm plate (also with pre & post heat) and smothed to remove all stress raisers.

The master cylinder you have there looks correct, just remove the hydraulic booster. The cylinder size is marked under the reservoir. From what I could find, the 25mm cylinder was only fitted to the 750 series BMs, the 730/733/735 only had 23mm ones. The booster on Dad's GTV is genuine original 1985...

Hi kevin Not sure the sizing is correct yet but I'm trying 2 x 19mm brake masters. Having no booster means that you need a different pedal length to master cylinder ratio. I did some calcs and came up with the ratio and cylinder sizes but need to do some testing - also depends on the calipers you us...

Now some big bits - DeDion A frame, complete with cross member and hubs (no watt link) - 32kg Transaxle, complete with clutch etc, brake calipers but no rotors - 72kg :shock: no wonder I had trouble lifting it out. and ....... What do your bits weigh ?
I'm ( FINALLY !! :oops: :D ) at the stage of putting stuff back into my car and I wanted to know where the weight is going in - for when I decide I need to get rid of some more. I plan to weigh as many of the bits as I can before they go back in - including the complete engine and complete transaxle...
