Bilstein Shocks on lowered 75

Post by 75 GTA »

Hi guys...

Yesterday I was going to install Bilsteins on my TS and I think they are too "tall" for the car since it´s lowered about 4cm (1,5 Inches).

I sent them to the mahining shop to make them about 4cm shorter so it can suit the low height I´m running.

Have any of you guys done this or are you running stock Bilstein height on your lowered 75/Milano/GTV?

I got yellow bilsteins on mine, haven't driven it very much but no problems, my friend who previously owned it had no damper issues either.
I dont understand the problem, as if the damper piston wont bottom out inside the damper before the rod itself does.
This is how low it is
