Alfetta GTV 2.0

Post by Oversteer »

Hi!

I've just bought an '81 Alfetta GTV 2.0, and was thinking about fitting the front anti roll bar from my 75 Turbo (24mm). I didnt find out yet how large is the alfetta one...

1st: are they interchangeable?

2nd: Is this a nice upgrade, considering it would reduce the pronouced body roll knowned for the 116 chassis, without reducing the ride quality?

It's not a daily drive, but I'm not planing on doing much track time with it...

Thanks in advance!

They are interchangeable.
Alfetta bar is 19mm.
It will improve the antiroll characteristics but you should also increase the stiffness of your rear springs at the same time by 1mm spring diameter .
You may need to give it a revised wheel alignment to macth as well.

Fit some Bilstein dampers for a more total road use upgrade.
