I can see the logic behind the choice. It works well.

Just love Julies....

Yay!!! another Giulieee!! :D :D

Those are some interesting wheels, they definetely look very 80's!!

By the way, i'm going to the track tomorrow, i'm going to try out some hankook's a friend of mine kindly gave away to me :D

Still with the 1.6 though....my mechanic is rebuilding a couple of engines now and at the back of the line...

Good news, I bought a 75 TS with a friend of mine for parts, now I got a TS box, wheels and brakes!!

I had a '80 Giuletta (beige......... where's Billy Connoly when you need him :? ) back when I was an apprentice (Fitter/Turner, 1999) and she had a set of 15" Campy's from (I'm guessing) a latish model GTV(4 cyl).
Oh how I wanted to add a turbo, aftermarket computer/efi and some decent brakes to her........ .
It was good showing my old flatmate the vertues of an Alfa on a winding back road :D :D :D . He thought his POS Holden was good :P .
Fun times :D :D :D!!!

Baz, you chainge wheels more times than our Pres Mbeki takes bribes. Very nice. Have you got a pic from the rear to show how the wheels fill the arches.

They look great - and would also look good with black centres and the polished rims (but I also think the black wheels shown in the signature are hot).

8.5 is pretty wide - what offset is that and what size tyres fit?

Actually not sure ...Im running a 235/40/17 but next would be a 245/35/17.
It fills that wheel out just so much better..

Running the proposed combo could see you in some guard fouling territory me thinks especially at the front but I know you are handy with the 12lb hammer..

Barry those mags really suit your baby, but why oh why do you have to screw with my head over another increase in tyre size???

Mike in South Africa a 12LB hammer is known as a Free State Shifting Spanner. Think red neck,Chav type blokes and you will get the joke.
