So, a gentleman by the name of Tony Schmidt (???spelling) in the club here borrowed a set of US spec. Milano fenders from me some months ago and has been tooling around his shop to try and create something individual - potentially for the 3.7 Milanos (and for others in our Alfa community...)

He asked me to post early sets pulled from the 1st set of molds and asked that I emphasize that this is just a start...

Jes and I are as of yet undecided on what the completed look is going to be and with the rumor that Brad at Alfa Riccambi may be importing a few sets of Evo kits again, I figured that this would be a good time to kick this one up...

Someone else here (to be named later) is working on his own production of a carbon fiber piece (close to an Evo kit) complete with bumpers and it is my understanding that he already has trunks...

Yes, then there are the EMC pieces out of the UK and even Ron at RS Racing has sme hoods and trunks! I am specifically starting this thread for the purpose of flushing out what is available to us here in the US as we can not all be fortunate enough to buy the original Evo pieces "down the street" from us but folks in other countries are welcome to jump in...

It is just that we need smething over here!

Shipping from Euroville kills us on this bulky stuff, so if anybody else knows of anything going on State-side in the world of body-kits for Milanos, please post here…

There are some obvious issues such as the fender opening that was increased to make room for more wheel/tire (but now you have to also modify either the stock Euro bumper where it wraps around back to meet the fender line - or your little pieces behind the accordion on the US spec bumpers or your Evo kit bumper edges (should you choose to combine them with Tony's fenders...)

This initial set is in fiberglass and the asking price is around 1100 USD to start with for the 4 pieces... I am luke-warm at this stage as this is still not a complete solution, but it is one helluvan effort state-side...

The rear needs to be more aggressive I think... The extra wheel space is nice, but I would ant the section behind the arch to bulge and gradually blend back to the tail light, just as the front does toward the head-light...

Looks very nice, JJ. I agree with your opinion on the rear, based on your photos. Still, very good as is.

Just for your information guys, did you know that EMC Racing in the UK are about to start making a full IMSA kit. Very likely going to me a bit much for most of us but at least it is about to become a real option.

Regarding the rear fender extension, could some of the sheet metal be cut away so that a wider tire wouldn't hit upon suspension compression ?
That's one thing about the stock Verde flares I don't like, they really do not provide any more fender clearance since the original steel is still there. I do like the looks of the Verde flares though. Tony's work looks pretty good for a first cut. It appears the rear fender is a more difficult challenge due to the restrictions placed by rear door clearance.

Also, not much comment from other members. Maybe it all look and think, but not talk.

Yeah, Tony's entire goal with these was to increase the wheel and tire-space and yes, the metal on the rear gets removed.

The OEM front fender gets changed-out entirely by the replacement front fenders and the fender-lines draw a whole new line a bit further out, but more importantly - higher up - especially towards the front where the Milanos usually rub...

Just like J thought , I think the rears would need a sharper wider line , the front looks terrific, I assume it is hard for people viewing it before painting to see the whole picture,also this fender will definately enable more wheel clearance which is important on the heavily nosed 6ers:)

Did these guards get off the ground? As I live in Aus and shipping from Eu is a prick here as well, but US is easy especially seeing as I am there three times a year.

I like those lines above. So wha tis going to be available as far as carbon fiber/fiberglass and/or bodykits for the GTV6's? I'd like to get rid of that 80's look, with the bumpers... Als, any bodykits like this (or this) around?
