Installing Rear Side Glass.

Post by brookstroutr »

HEY, you've probably seen my '84 resto project car and I'm having a spot of trouble. I cannot seem to get the rear side large triangle piece of glass in. It came out with no problems and I even temp re-installed the 2 support brackets as they were removed. Any tricks to this one so I can stop pounding my 4head on the gutter rail????? What procedure am I missing? Attempt; beer; attempt; beer; attempt; tequila shot; more attempt; another shot; wtf**** better stop before the glass goes flying!!!!

as i recall from removeing them on a rotted out 79

remove the bottom retaining edge....let it drop down. remove weather striping..twist a little and it slides right out.......

the pointy end should go in first
