Michael,

Bit of feedback.

Cannot see EDIT/Delete facility yet..

Suggest the word "FORUM" in the logo be considerably reduced and a photo of our beloved GTV6 be included in its place somewhere so as to link the transmission to the actual car for both owners who already know about these cars and for causal visitors who may not know that the tranasmission actually belongs to this car.

It may be visually even more interesting to have a banner like photo set of 4 views: Front, Side & Rear of car and a 4th one of the transmission positioned in one line across the page with the text underscoring the images ?

Cheers, MD

Aha, EDIT and Quote buttons appear after the post...

As Barry, I can't find a method of attaching photos..

Like the expand/collapse feature..

Hi MD:

This category (Site Administration & announcements) does not permit users to post attachments - try one of the others to see if the Upload Attachment is visible.

Instead of using this site to upload pics, you can also use services like http://tinypic.com to host the images, then just reference them from this site ...

I'll need help with the art - perhaps one of our users can come up with tomething?

Cheers,
Michael

Mike,

I know we're still in the testing phase, but the link in the main alfagtv6.com page has a link to the old forum. Maybe we can change the link to point to this forum?

Thanks.

WOW. Melikes :) One thing... Will avatars stay on right side? This is kinda confusing - at least for me.
Again great work Mike.

Hi:
I might add new layouts in the future (they determine where each element is displayed) ... I'm trying to avoid customizing this site as much as possible - any customization makes upgrades much more time consuming

My only complaint is the size and location of the marker that indicates a thread has new posts. Because of the colour of everything, it blends in too much and makes me thinks it's the symbol for a locked or stickied thread. Personally a bigger icon, preferably in the space to the left would be a better idea.

Food for thought anyway..

Edit: Noticed hyperlinks link straight to the site rather than opening a new window. That would be worth changing as well. BBCode on?

Cool, nice to see the forum again, I was thinking what the hell, I couldn't get in via the old link on my favorite's bar!

I like the new style by the way!
