its been awile, i have modified the car in several stages

put on 305mm gta brakes

the original engine is out , and the 24v is ready to be placed
i had the flywheel lightened and balanced

on the side i'm restoring my speedline mistral rims (3-piece) 17"

and put in a quick-release hub , mainly for a better sitting position

plans are that the car will be resprayed in the same colour as the gtv tb Image
i'm not sure if i'm gonna refit the bumpers, i like the french frontspoiler a lot

Taking the back bumper off does not work unless you remould the back and round the edges. My mate has just done that on his gtv. This wouldlook good with the french bumper as the car would looked balanced from side. Can you not relook at the colour coding on your front bumper / spoiler . Try keep lines etc .
I think that front combo you have now is great.

when (if) i dump the bumpers , the back will be smoothed out, probably with a diffuser for an oilcooler (diff)
there also will be a pair of airscoops in front of the rearwheels for diff/brake cooling

the rims wich are under the car now are 16"x8 momo sport
the rims wich i'm refurbishing are speedline mistral 17"x 9 (3-piece)

the rims under the blue gtv are ronal "turbo" rims (15x7,5) , i've sold these to the uk, they are very rare rims, esspecially in 5x98 pdc

time for , an update, finished welding the intake plenum (pffffff), made the multibelt assembly,now its time to connect all the hoses and wires and test it.......

still have to get some footage outside of the car, it really sounds incredible, burbling when in low revs screaming when in high, you get the feeling that its about to explode....... :twisted:

i've tried the speedlines, on the rear they fit decently, but in the front a different solution is necessary, because the adapters give the wheels an ofset of 12 combined with the width of the rims, steering leads to scubbing the tires against the chassis
